My Game Ideas

(A collection of basic video game concepts I've come up with over the years. So far, no developers have made anything quite like them.)

  • An RTS game set in a post apocalyptic scenario, where the player must build up a refuge for survivors by scavenging for materials, harvesting natural resources, finding or building shelter, and defending the settlement from raiders and natural events. Maps are randomly generated and can be set in rural, suburban or urban settings, each with their own pros and cons.
  • FPS set during the American Revolutionary War, with historically accurate depictions of real battles from the Revolution. All available weapons would be accurate in behavior to authentic weapons from the time period. Campaign would put the player through a series of historic battles, PvP would be America vs. England in historically accurate maps based on Colonial America.
  • Semi-open world sandbox exploration game following an archeologist investigating ruins on a dead alien planet. The player can choose to set down in various distinct regions of the planet and have a limited time (based on oxygen consumption) to explore the ruins and make archeological discoveries. More discoveries and bigger discoveries allow the mission to receive more funding, allowing the player to unlock new upgrades that allow more mobility, increased time limits and access to areas previously unreachable for one reason or another. Death causes a loss of funding and possible revocation of upgrades.
  • JRPG-style game that uses traditional JRPG mechanics such as a party or characters with unique stats and attacks that can be leveled, but with traditional turn-based battle mechanics replaced with a Smash Bros. style battle sequences. All NPCs and boss characters would have unique stats and special moves, and the appearance and layout of the arena would be based on where the fight started. Fights would use HP and the arena would be walled off. As in traditional JRPGs items can still be collected and used in battle, and some may randomly spawn mid-fight.
  • Competitive Team FPS where each team represents a famous army from various points in history. Teams would range from the likes of the modern United States Army to the Greek Imperial Legion and everything in between, with each team having period accurate fighter classes and weapon loadouts, and maps would be inspired by various famous settings throughout history. Traditional competitive shooter game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Payload and King of the Hill would be used, among others.
